About Cyclone Fani

Billed as the most severe cyclonic storm since the super cyclone of 1999, Cyclone Fani has displaced over 1.5 million people in the Indian states of Odisha, West Bengal, and Andhra Pradesh. Around 38 people have died, and hundreds have been injured.

A study by the Government of India and Inter Agency Groups has found that there is an immediate need for safe shelter in the affected regions. billionBricks is currently mobilizing their award winning weatherHYDE tents to be deployed in affected districts through its government and non-government partners and civil societies.
